Career perspectives
University graduates can develop both ways into e.g. senior researcher and, at a later stage, company scientist. But you can also opt for a career as project manager or expertise group leader.
During the first years you will be involved in a wide range of projects with a view to gaining as much experience as possible whilst you discover where your heart and talents lie. On the whole, this all begins with assignments, after which you will gradually be given more room to define your own field of activity and to tackle all manner of intellectual challenges as you see fit.
A good researcher is generally very inquisitive – with good powers of observation – and keen to know how everything works. And with those skills at hand, there is no end to what you can discover at Tata Steel!
