• You'll investigate whether a project is necessary or if there are alternative solutions. By asking critical questions, you uncover and understand the root cause of the problem, ensuring that efforts are focused on the right solution.
• You'll utilize your external network to gather specialized knowledge from professionals, suppliers, and academic institutions who can provide insights and solutions for complex technical challenges.
• You'll develop fundamental engineering documentation, such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Heat & Material Balances (HMBs), and layout plans.
• You'll perform simulations and calculations in, for example, Aspen/Hysys and FluidFlow, and evaluate alternatives to make the most well-founded recommendation for the next project phase.
• You'll collaborate with various disciplines within the organization to align project goals and technical feasibility, while gathering insights from later project phases to continuously improve future concept designs.
